Top Off Your Brake Fluid

While it may seem overzealous, it is extremely important for the health of your vehicle to top off and check your brake fluid monthly.  Unfortunately, once exposed to air brake fluid absorbs moisture and becomes contaminated. To make sure your vehicles brakes don't malfunction, wipe the dirt from the master cylinder lid before opening and topping off the fluid. Make sure you never substitute other fluids, such as power-steering or transmission fluid or use fluid from a previously opened container.
